Junho and Yoona Reportedly Dating
King The Land stars, Lee Jun-ho and Im Yoona are reportedly dating.
According to an entertainment industry insider who recently spoke to a Korean media outlet, “Proof,” they said, “Lee Jun-ho and Im Yoona developed a romantic relationship even before filming JTBC’s weekend drama ‘King The Land,’ and that’s the reason why they worked together on this project.”
Lee Jun-ho and Im Yoona received praise for their chemistry since they co-hosted the MBC ‘Gayo Daejejeon’ for two consecutive years starting in 2021.
As a result, fans considered them as the representative of a “dream come true” couple they wanted to see in a drama. Finally, both of them were cast in the roles of a tough third-generation chaebol heir and a bright and courageous hotelier in ‘King The Land.’
Born in 1990, both stars also debuted in the entertainment industry around the same time with their respective groups, ‘2PM’ and ‘Girls’ Generation.’ Following their successful careers as idols, they have seamlessly transitioned into the realm of “actor-idols” and garnered immense popularity. It is reported that they formed a natural bond and are currently maintaining a committed relationship.
This “real-life couple chemistry” also translates into the success of ‘King The Land.’ Despite initially facing the limitations of a predictable story and clichés, the drama has surpassed a 10% viewer rating within three days of airing.
Lee Jun-ho, who debuted with the film ‘Cold Eyes,’ received recognition for his acting skills through subsequent works such as ‘Twenty,’ ‘The Throne,’ KBS2’s ‘The Chief Kim,’ tvN’s ‘Confession,’ and gained immense popularity through last year’s MBC historical drama ‘The Red Sleeve.’
Im Yoona, who juggled idol and acting activities from the beginning of her career, left a strong impression as an actress through KBS2’s ‘You Are My Destiny.’ She then appeared in dramas such as ‘Prime Minister and I,’ ‘Love Rain,’ MBC’s ‘Hush,’ ‘Big Mouth,’ as well as movies like ‘Exit,’ ‘Miracle,’ and the ‘Confidential Assignment’ series.

SM Entertainment, in light of the report, stated that YoonA and the two are merely good friends, and the allegations of them dating hold no truth. JYP Entertainment, representing Lee Junho, gave a similar response, asserting that although the two individuals share a close relationship, after consulting with Lee Junho, they found no basis for the dating rumors.
